Martin has now done two different photo shoots for me. He first did my dog Ted at his studios. Martin was fantastic with Ted and also with us trying to keep him still. They say never work with dogs but Martin was, as I said, fantastic and the pictures were amazing.
He also recently did my daughter’s wedding and again he was fantastic. He helped settle nerves and was very patient. He was there all day and most of the night as well. He took hundreds of pictures and again was superb! Thanks Martin.

Step Two
Book Session
Let’s find a date that works for you and book the session.
Step Three
Time for the Photo Session!
On the day we will take our time, make sure your pet is relaxed and having fun and I will create some images for you to cherish!
Step Four
Personal Viewing Session
1-2 weeks after the session you will be invited back to the studio or via a video call to view the images and make your selection. I can help you decide how to display them and before you know it they will be hanging from your walls!
About Martin Roper Photography
It seems a long time ago when my wife Michelle and I discussed building an extension to our house. Michelle dreamed of a new kitchen and views onto our garden, I had always wanted a home studio for my photography business. Well after a long 18 months and the worst of Covid had passed, we both got our wishes!
I absolutely love capturing weddings but the opening of my studio in 2021 gave me the opportunity to specialise in a second genre and create stunning pet portraits in a purpose designed, safe and secure environment for animals in particular.
As a dog owner I know all too well that they are not always well behaved. You may have reservations about how your dog would behave for a pet photo session? However I can guarantee that with patience and by making it fun for your dog, I will create some images worthy of filling your walls at home.
I can offer a full range of top quality wall art products, prints and albums and it is possible to purchase digital files only if that is your choice.

No problem! With patience and a few tricks we will make it a fun session for your dog and capture some beautiful images. If your dog needs to stay on a lead I can remove it in post processing.

Usually around an hour but we will take as long as needed to get the photos you will love. However, if your dog is stressed at any point we will take a break and only continue when the dog is ok.

Absolutely! This is all about the connection with your pet so feel free to join in!

Along with professional cameras and lenses I use LED lighting which provides a continuous source off light and avoids the need for flash photography that may distress your pet.

These things happen and so I am more than happy to rearrange the photo shoot for a convenient date.
