Bruisyard Country Estate Wedding

When you arrive at Bruisyard Country Estate on a sunny Wednesday in August you just know it’s going to be a great day. I love a midweek wedding as it has the feel of the weekend with lots of celebrations and partying! Bruisyard Hall is a stunning venue with parts of the hall dating back over 700 years. For me as a photographer there are so many great backdrops to enhance the photos of the day.

It was almost two years since I first met Paige and Alfie. Having visited them at their home when they first enquired about wedding photography, spent time with them for a pre wedding photo shoot and also seen them at a siblings wedding earlier in the year, I felt like I knew them quite well.

There may have been some awkwardness in front of the camera at the start of their pre wedding shoot but with encouragement they soon warmed up. On their wedding day this couple were fantastic in front of the camera, perfectly relaxed and their bond was clear to be seen.

A beautiful day full of love and energy that I was in no hurry to leave well into the evening fun!
